We Don't Choose the Fights. We Follow the People Who Are Already Fighting Them.

FAN's campaigns are led by the grassroots organizations we support. We do not originate. We do not substitute. We provide material support — numbers, skills, resources, and political legitimacy — under the direction of those most impacted by state violence, patriarchy, and white supremacy.

FAN is an ally organization. That means our campaigns are not ours. They belong to the movements we follow. Every campaign listed here is led by a grassroots partner organization rooted in the communities most affected. FAN's role is to mobilize allies — cis-men, white supporters, and conscience constituents across all backgrounds — to provide the material support those campaigns need to win.

The four campaigns below represent the frontline fights for justice in Wisconsin right now. They are connected by a shared analysis: state violence is not a collection of isolated incidents. It is a system. Policing, poverty, displacement, and attacks on women and queer people operate through the same logic. Fighting one means fighting all of them.

Community Control Over Police

The demand: Communities must have power over the people who police them — not oversight, not reform, control.

Black people in Wisconsin are 5.2 times more likely than white people to be killed by police. Madison is not different. This campaign, led by Freedom Inc., has two active fronts: Power Up the PCO Board — defending and strengthening the oversight board the city is trying to weaken — and Justice for Corey Ruiz — demanding accountability for the July 22, 2026 police killing of Corey Ruiz in the Marquette neighborhood. FAN mobilizes allies to provide material support to both.
